Casa Cenote
Location:
That cenote is located forty-nine (49) kilometres
south of Puerto Aventuras.
Facilities:
There are changing rooms and two
(2) washrooms
on site.
Snorkeling:
This is one of the
few surface rivers in the Yukatan peninsula. Due
to the connection to the ocean both fresh and salt water fishes live there.
You can also find algae, mangroves and even manatees.
Cavern:
This site gives the diver the feeling to dive underneath
the jungle. Observe algae, mangroves, fresh and salt water fishes and if
lucky you can find manatees. The flow of the river carries you and you
reach a maximum depth of
twenty-five (25)
feet.
Cave: Connected to the ocean, the cave diver can start the
dive in Casa Cenote and reach the ocean.
