Dos Ojos
Location :
That cenote is located twenty-seven
(27) kilometres
south of Puerto Aventuras.
Facilities :
There are no changing rooms or
washrooms on site.
Snorkeling
:
There are two
(2) areas to swim and snorkel. You will find fresh water tropical fishes and
many stalagmites and stalactites. Excellent for snorkeling.
Cavern :
There are two (2) cavern zones. In one of them you will find a dome filled with air where
you can find bats hiding between the stalactites. The maximum depth is twenty-two (22) feet which gives the
diver plenty of bottom time to admire what is considered the best cavern.
Cave : Dos Ojos is connected
to more then rwenty-five (25) cenotes with more then sixty (60) kilometers
explored. You can make several cave dives and never go through the same
way. Dos Ojos is considered the best cave diving.
