Tajma Hal

Location : That cenote is located five (5) kilometres south of Puerto Aventuras.

Facilities : There are no changing rooms or washrooms on site.

Snorkeling : Only available for advanced snorkelers. You will have to free dive for twenty-five (25) feet under the Tajma Ha cenote to reach the air dome called the Room of Light, where you will find bats and see the sunlight penetrating the dome giving the effect of laser beams.

Cavern : You will start your dive and enter in the Room of Light an air dome where you can see the sunlight penetrate and five the effect the there are laser beams.  As well, you will find bats flying through the air dome. You will make your way to cenote Sugar Bowl where you can find thousands of hidden fossils and many stalagmites and stalactites. It is considered the best cavern dive by the owner of V.I.P. Diving.

Cave : For the cave divers there are two (2) possibilities to start the dive, upstream or downstream.  Ask your guide to bring you to the Chinese Garden.
